Check coating method (slot-die, gravure, knife-over-roll), maximum web width, line speed, condition of metering/doctoring parts, control systems, and available spare parts. Request run sheets and maintenance records.

Disassemble into transportable sections, secure rollers and shafts, drain hazardous fluids, protect precision heads and electronics, and use flatbed or container shipment with crane loading and insurance.

Schedule routine inspection of rollers, bearings, seals, heaters and temperature controls; clean coating heads and pumps after runs; replace doctor blades and seals as needed; and keep electrical controls and calibration documented.
