Spin Rinse Dryers (SRD) are compact, high-throughput units used to rinse and rapidly dry parts after wet cleaning. They spin parts while spraying deionized water or solvents and apply high-speed rotation plus heated or vacuum-assisted drying to remove residual fluid and particles. SRDs are common in surface treatment, semiconductor, medical, and precision manufacturing where fast, repeatable, particle-free drying is required.
Check rotor and chuck condition, seals, bearings and motor hours. Verify control electronics, cycle recipes, rinse plumbing and drain integrity. Look for corrosion, contamination, and maintenance records. Confirm spare parts availability and compatibility with your fixtures.
Drain all fluids, secure rotating parts, lock the rotor and protect fragile sensors. Crate the unit on a pallet, brace internal components, and mark lifting points. Use a carrier experienced with lab or industrial equipment, insure the load, and include export or hazardous-material paperwork if solvents were used.
Perform routine cleaning of the chamber and nozzles, replace seals and filters, inspect bearings and motor coupling, and service vacuum or heated drying systems. Calibrate sensors and cycle controls periodically and follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
