Description
One (1) 83" Arrow Model 2000 Simplex surface center assist rewind slitter rewinder with constant surface winding.
Still installed and running. Schedule inspection through Global Equipment Intl., LLC
Surface / center surface wind.
Speed 2500 FPM. 87" rolls.
Max. rewind dia. 70".
For heavy materials, manufacturer recommended 50" dia. rewind.
For lighter materials, 60" rewind, using table delivery.
If not using table delivery, then 70" dia. rewind.
Detached unwind Model 452 shaftless floor pickup, 74" dia. 3" & 6" chucks air brake. Max. weight 7,000 lbs.
PA auto tension system transducer.
Fife automatic edge guiding, pneumatic sensor. Shear slit. (28) driven female rotary knives.
Six (6) New Mario Cotta Class 1 male knives.

Rewind station has pivoting arms to support the winding shaft & helps to deposit finished rewound rolls onto roll cart.
Driven rubber-covered winding drum has 20 HP motor to drive the roll winding drum is mounted on pivots & pneumatically loaded against the rewind mandrel. As the rewinding roll diameter increases, the winding drum pivots to move outward.
Ball screw controls position of the rewind arms.
Electronic control of the position of the rewound roll.
The result is the maintenance of a preset constant surface pressure regardless of the roll weight or the diameter of the rewinding roll.
