The Sakura Tissue-Tek TEC 5 is a two-module embedding console system designed for efficiency and customization that suits even high volume laboratories. Providing a compact and single workstation, the Tissue Tek TEC 5 enables both specimen orientation and paraffin embedding.
The TEC 5 system can be customized to user preferences by placing the modules in a left-to-right or right-to-left arrangement for optimal workflow. Other advances that optimize operations include: a finger touchplate and optional foot pedal for precise control of paraffin flow; a dispensing tower knob to adjust the flow rate to specific tasks; and, an automatic ON/OFF switch that allows manual override for greater flexibility.
