The Nikon Eclipse E800 Fluorescence Microscope is an upright fluorescence microscope that is modular and versatile, capable of capturing bright, clear, crisp images with a variety of condensers and filters. This microscope is equipped with Nikon’s CFI60 optical system, which features a tube lens focal length of 200mm and universal objectives for different methods of observation, including brightfield, darkfield, differential interference contrast (DIC), epifluorescence and phase contrast. This optical system ensures that images are aberration free and have no color fringing or distortion at the edge of the viewing field.
The Eclipse E800 features a universal condenser turret, which allows users to select DIC, darkfield, or phase contrast with no need to change out the condenser. The microscope is illuminated by a diascopic illuminator using a 100w tungsten-halide lamp with an external power supply.
