Verify stroke or torque, bore size, mounting type, port orientation, operating pressure range, materials, seal type, and compatibility with your control valves and air quality. For used units, inspect wear on rods and seals and ask for service history.

Depressurize and lock the actuator, cap or plug ports, retract/protect rods, secure mounting brackets, and crate or palletize to prevent impact. Use a carrier experienced with precision industrial components and insure the shipment.

Maintain clean, dry, lubricated air with filters/regulators/lubricators, check and replace seals, inspect for leaks, verify alignment and mountings, and test cycle performance. Frequency depends on duty cycle and environment.
