            Feedback devices are sensors and transducers—encoders, resolvers, tachometers and position sensors—used on crawler loaders and heavy equipment to provide real-time data on position, speed and direction. Buyers choose based on resolution, environmental rating (IP), electrical interface (analog, digital, CAN), mounting, shaft size and compatibility with the machine’s controller.

            How do I ensure a feedback device is compatible with my crawler loader?

            Match electrical interface (voltage, signal type, CAN), mechanical mounting, shaft diameter, resolution and connector pinout to your controller. Provide the OEM part number or controller specs to the seller and ask for a datasheet.

            What should I check when buying a used feedback device?
