Used Water Cooled Condensers

Verify capacity (BTU/kW), design type, metallurgy (copper, stainless), tube condition, signs of corrosion or leaks, maintenance records, and compatibility with your refrigerant and water chemistry. Ask for performance tests or recent inspection reports.

Crate or secure the unit on a skid, protect tubes and connections, drain and purge fluids, and label lifting points. Use a carrier experienced with heavy industrial equipment and confirm insurance and rigging requirements at pickup and delivery.

Maintain proper water treatment to prevent scaling and corrosion, clean tubes periodically (mechanical or chemical cleaning), monitor pressure drops and temperatures, inspect for leaks, and follow scheduled checks on pumps, valves and controls.
